Opher Levy practices in the areas of corporate and commercial law, banking and credit card law, antitrust and intellectual property. The activities of his corporate and individual clients cover a wide range of fields including financial services, the food services industries, credit payment businesses, transportation entities, environmental technology groups, and private investments, amongst others.

Opher has guided a number of commercial and legal operations of immense magnitude in recent years, including the split of Africa-Israel Ltd. between Migdal Insurance Co. and the public offering of Migdal's capital stock on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, the preparation of the first prospectus for Israel Chemicals Ltd., and the merger of Schindler-Nechushtan Lifts Ltd.

Well-recognized for his leading role in the credit card industry, Opher played a significant role in the representation of Visa-Israel Credit Cards and Bank Leumi in negotiations and proceedings with Visa International, as well as before the Commissioner of Restrictive Trade Practices, regarding the entrance of a new principal member for Visa credit cards in the Israeli market.

Legal 500 has recognized Opher's national reputation as an antitrust authority, and he regularly appears before the Commissioner of Restrictive Trade Practices, representing the firm's corporate clients.

Opher serves as a member on the Board of Directors of Midroog Ltd., an Israeli affiliate of an international credit rating company, and Global Factoring Ltd., an Israeli factoring company. He is listed in the "Who's Who in Top Management" of Dun & Bradstreet's Israel publication.

Opher graduated Tel Aviv University (LL.B.) in 1985 and was admitted to the Israel Bar in 1986. He earned his LL.M. degree at New York University (LL.M.) in 1989, and obtained a Mediator's certification in 2004. Opher is a member of the Israel and New York Bars, as well as an Israeli Notary.
